Directions:

Please do not use Map Quest for directions. Despite repeated requests they still list the incorrect directions to reach us. Hwy 120 is typically closed from Fall until late Spring. Please call the California Dept. of Transportation at 800-427-7623 for information on road conditions.

Road Conditions:
Enter Highway Number (s)

Separate multiple route numbers with commas or spaces.

From Southern California:
Take the 5 Freeway North to the 99 Freeway North to Hwy 41 towards Yosemite. You will drive through the town of Oakhurst which we are 12 miles north of. The Narrow Gauge Inn is on the right side of the road immediately past the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.

From Yosemite Valley:
Leave from the southern entrance (Highway 41). We are 4 miles from the ranger gate on the left side of the road. As we are on a curve, it may be a bit difficult to find us. Look for a school bus sign and begin to slow. Shortly you will see a blue sign with a telephone on it and then a sign for the Railroad. Our driveway is immediately across from the railroad sign.

From Mariposa:
Take Highway 49 south until it ends at the intersection of Highway 41 in the town of Oakhurst and turn left. We are 12 miles up the road on the right hand side immediately past the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.

From the San Francisco Area:
Take Highway 132 or Highway 120 to Highway 99 South. Take Highway 99 to Highway 140 towards Mariposa. As soon as you enter the town of Mariposa, you will take a hard right turn onto Highway 49 south. Follow Highway 49 south until it ends at the intersection of Highway 41 in the town of Oakhurst and turn left. We are 12 miles up the road on the right hand side immediately past the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.
